Cornice / Coving
To help you work out the correct quantity of coving for your room we have put together the following formula:
Accurately total up the perimeter of the room in metres, then add 10%. Divide by the length of your chosen Cornice (shown on the product details) then round that figure up to the next full length.
So for example, you have chosen the ‘Grand Victoria‘ for the following:
1) Room perimeter = 22.4m
2) Add 10% at 2.24m = 24.64m
3) Divide by 2.6m = 9.47
4) Round up 9.47 to the next full length = 10 lengths
Note: Add 15% to total meterage if you have more than 6 mitres (corners)

Ceiling Roses
When measuring for a ceiling rose it’s important to take into account the size of the central boss. Your light fitting must comfortably fit within this boss without interfering with the Ceiling Rose’s pattern.
Corbels
Your Corbel dimensions are largely dependant upon their intended purpose. Please use the diagram to determine the correct measurements for your requirements.
Dado Rail

So for example, you have chosen the ‘Ornate‘ Dado Rail for the following:
1) Room perimeter = 22.4m
2) Add 10% at 2.24m = 24.64m
3) Divide by 2.6m = 9.47
4) Round up 9.47 to the next full length = 10 lengths

Arches should be measured to match your own requirements bearing in mind the Rise and Seat are fixed dimensions.
